I went to Auer Ave School back in the day. My cuz still lives on 24th & Burleigh St after 'bout 40 something years (between Auer Ave & Burleigh). My cuz lives up the street from Mr. Carter's Drug store {da healing man}). She knew Eric's dad. I think she said that they stayed on Burleigh, somewhere between 23rd, 25th, or 26th St (not sure).
It's great to hear about the survival of the neighborhood thru Eric Benet's voice, his being and his made video...thanks for sharing. The neighborhood is foreva in my heart.
