Thanks, would love the support. It's so many of us in this area we need to get a King Reunion: Southern Regional! May get Jerry Smokin' B of 107.9 to help & Robert Lathan. That would be sooo sweet! Lord knows it's enough of us in the Metro Atl & surrounding areas.
Eric I didn't know you went to FAMU. My band used to perform at this club not far from the campus, I can't remember the name but the place was raggedy as all get out, but check this part out...The people paid us quite well, and the crowd that came in was always dressed to impressed! Plus one guy tipped me 100.00 one night just for singing "Not Gon' Cry" for his wife! Typical Florida scenario though, huh? Wow! We also used to do the Moon in Tallahassee! Wow! I KNOW you majored in PARTYING @ FAMU because U surely did @ FVSU (Fort Valley State Univeristy. You know your band may have given us a run for our money, if and only if they partied thenight before. Yesss, I am a wildkitten! A wildkitten who's son wants to transfer to, of ALL PLACES......ALBANY STATE! Pray for me! LOL! TTY sooner than later!
Houston is treating me well, thanks. Please shout me out when you are in town. My cell number is still the same as at reunion time and has been for over ten years, lol. The same goes for anyone else reading this that already has the number. I go to Milwaukee about twice a year. My mom loves the warm weather of Houston, dining, shopping and close friends of my maternal grandparents retired to Sugarland, TX right outside of Houston like Brown Deer is to Milwaukee. When she comes to Houston, she gets to see me, my grandparent's best friends and most of their immediate family. It's quite nice the way it's worked out for me.
