I am currently a guidance counselor at King. In May, both Dave Forecki and Jeff Brooks are retiring. Dave has been at King for 39 years as both a guidance counselor and math teacher. Jeff has been at King for 28 years in the same positions. I am trying to put together a collection of emails from past students and staff to present to both of them on their last day. If you would please take the time to email me with any "retirement message or memory" you have I would appreciate it. My email is BrMIkell@sbcglobal.net. Thanks so much.

Greg - Good to see you're the overachiever as always, spreading the word about IB! And yes, that's where my dad went to high school!

Hello,

I wanted to say that I have a hobby now of looking up new schools that have IB and talking to the students, parents, and staff there about my experiences. I also submitted a bit about my first attempt at a PhD where my knowledge of Newton-Raephson, courtesy of IB Math Methods, came in quite handy. In chronological order, the schools have been Catholic Memorial (Waukesha), Lincoln (Manitowoc - Erin, did your father attend that school?), and Notre Dame de la Baie (Green Bay). I have an engagement pencilled in at Madison Country Day in Waunakee this December. It's tricky to do now, since I live in Pittsburgh, but in some sense more feasible as I do not know the Pittsburgh area very well yet and have little transportation. I have a nice Powerpoint Presentation to accompany my talks, too, including articles where Tony Blair praises IB as something that he would have preferred doing (though I have been unable to find a direct quote where he mentions IB).
